I have also recently become interested in the topic of health benefits of extra virgin olive oil. It is not just a tasty addition to dishes, but also a healthy product. I read that the oil helps maintain heart health, reduces "bad" cholesterol and even has a positive effect on the skin. Now I try to add it to my dishes. for example, I dress salads or use it instead of regular oil. The taste is really different, more intense, and the dishes themselves are lighter.
